• Advance payment made through the website alone does not confirm the booking. Confirmation is valid only after you receive our official message.
• Karthi Travels reserves the right to decline a booking request without providing a reason. Any advance amount paid will be refunded in such cases.
• Karthi Travels is not responsible for delays or missed sightseeing caused by fog, rain, landslides, roadblocks, wildlife movement, political strikes, or poor road conditions in the Dindigul - Kodaikanal ghat section.
• If customers want to revisit any sightseeing spot in Kodaikanal, additional toll charges, repeated parking fees, and extra usage charges will apply.
• Air-conditioning will be switched off on steep ghat sections, mountainous roads, or when the cab is stationary to avoid engine overheating during the Dindigul to Kodaikanal hill drive.
• For one-way taxi trips, once the cab reaches the designated drop-off location, it cannot be used for further local travel or sightseeing.
• If Government authorities revise toll, parking, fuel, or tax slabs after the booking, the revised cost must be paid by the customer.
• Pickups before 5:00 AM or drops after 11:00 PM will incur an additional fee of ₹600 per instance. This charge does not apply for one-way trips.
• Airport and railway station parking fees are not included in the fare and must be paid directly by the customer.
• Unexpected mechanical problems or A/C failures may occur despite regular maintenance. Our team will assist promptly, but compensation cannot be claimed.
• Drivers maintain safe speeds throughout the Dindigul to Kodaikanal hill drive. Customers should not insist on speeding on ghat roads.
• Some Kodaikanal sightseeing points have limited space. Vehicles may need to stop at the nearest permissible point instead of the exact entry or exit.
• If customers choose their own hotel in Kodaikanal, they must ensure proper road access, safe vehicle entry, driver restroom facilities, and parking availability. If the road is inaccessible, the vehicle will be parked at the nearest feasible point.
• Entry tickets at tourist places, temple entry tickets, forest entry permits, eco-fees, boating charges, and local activity fees in Kodaikanal are not included unless mentioned.
• Any expenses arising from road closures, diversions, landslides, or weather-related disruptions must be paid directly by the customer.
• Any damages caused by the passengers to the cab interior, seats, upholstery, windows, or accessories by customers must be compensated.
• Customers must plan their travel responsibly. We are not liable if they miss a flight, train, or bus due to traffic delays, diversions, late departure, or unforeseen conditions.
• All disputes arising from our service or website usage fall under the jurisdiction of courts in Vellore District, Tamil Nadu.
• Kodaikanal is a strict plastic-free zone. Carrying disposable plastic bottles, covers, or containers may lead to fines at check-posts.
